..raiN oN mE

Mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...
Mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...
Mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...mmm...

[VERSE 1:]
I'm lookin' in the mirror
At this woman down and out
She's internally dyin'
I know this was not what love's about

I don't wanna be this woman
The second time around'
Cause I'm wakin' up screamin', no longer believin'
That I'm gonna be around

[PRE-HOOK:]
And over and over I tried
Yet over and over you lied
over and over I cried, yeah
I don't know why

And over and over I tried
Yet over and over you lied
over and over I cried, yeah
I don't know why

[CHORUS:]
Rain on me
Lord, won't you take this pain from me
I don't wanna live, I don't wanna breathe
Baby, just rain on me
Lord, won't you take this pain from me
I don't wanna live, I don't wanna breathe, tell ya just

[VERSE 2:]
See, I don't want to hug my pillow late at night no more
I'm tossin' and turnin' and thinkin' 'bout burnin' down these walls
I-I don't wanna fuel this fire no more, no more, no more
See, I made up my mind 'cause I've wasted my time
Ain't nothin' here to keep me warm

[PRE-HOOK X2]

[CHORUS]

[BRIDGE:]
I'm so tired of the rain
In my life
And I'm so tired of the strain
And now you're gonna lie

'Cause sometimes I can't sleep at night and
This here it just don't seem right and
Sometimes I just wonder why I
Almost let my life go by

'Cause sometimes I can't sleep at night and
This here it just don't seem right and
Sometimes I just wonder why I
Almost let my life go by

Nobody knows who I really am
I never felt this empty before
And if I ever need someone to come along
Who's gonna comfort me and keep me strong

We are all rowing the boat of fate
The waves keep on comin' and we can't escape
But if we ever get lost on our way
The waves would guide you through another day

..here's a preview of the book by j.k. rowling. i believe this one is being auctioned by sotheby’s in london. the said book contains five wizarding tales, among those who read the seventh book of the famous harry potter series, they'll know it was referenced in the last book; harry potter and the deathly hallows. the book below is only one of the seven handmade copies in existence and is auctioned for a purchase price of £1,950,000. the proceeds will be donated to the charity she co-founded which is "the children's voice campaign. this is to improve the lives of the institutionalized children across europe.

the tales of beedle the bard is bound in brown moroccan leather and embellished with five hand-chased hall marked sterling silver ornaments and mounted moonstones as seen in the pictures below. it contains 157 pages, extensive illustrations and handwritings of j.k. rowling herself.

..a well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20 bill. in the room of 200, he asked, “who would like this $20 bill? hands started going up. he said, “i am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.” he proceeded to crumple the dollar bill up. he then asked, “who still wants it?” still the hands were up in the air. “well,” he replied, “what if I do this?” and he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. he picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.

now who still wants it?”

the question is "how are you going to make me believe that this chair infront of you is invisible?"

it took all of the students one hour to finish writing the answer except for one lazy student who only took 5 seconds.
after that day the results are already posted.
the lazy student got the highest score.

know what his answer is?

"what chair?"

..i was startled when i saw in a commercial in studio 23 that there was this man who got pregnant. thinking that it was literally a man that got pregnant.

i haven't gotten the chance to watch oprah, last friday, to check out the interview but i found this news on the internet:

thomas beatie, 34, who claims to be the first ever pregnant man - was actually a woman before his sex - change operation and decided to keep his female sex organs, he says that the baby will be a miracle for him and his wife.

he's about six months pregnant by this time, and says that it's a human desire to have a baby with her wife - who has two daughters from her previous marriage. it was when she was 24 that she decided to become a man. at that age, she began taking testosterone treatments and had her breast removed to flatten her chest(as seen in the picture).

he and his wife nancy had been happily married for more than five years already, and are now expecting a healthy baby.

we'll see in the next few months what happens..

..one of the reasons why people get so sentimental, it's because memories are the only things that don't change. When everything else does, there are things in life that you can't hold on forever; no matter how much you fight for it. sometimes destiny isn't always good, it becomes playful. When you met someone you learned to love, you thought that it was destiny who made your paths cross. but what if making your paths cross is just a part of the game that the playful destiny create? making you realize in the end that the person you thought that was destined for you wasn't really meant to stay but only destined to make you feel love and leave when you already fallen. it's not easy to state a reason when you decide to leave your love. Some might think it's just an excuse; some might not actually believe; some will blame you; might even be mad at you. what they don't see in fact that it hurts you even more to hurt someone who doesn't deserve to be hurt especially when you can't actually state the reason why you have to leave. You can never own something that was never yours so let's stop gripping on things we expect to last forever. Nothing lasts forever. Forever is a lie. Everything is transitory. So while you have something in your hand, put in mind that it's just borrowed. So that someday when it's gone, it won't take you eternity to let it go. When your feelings get strong for someone, it's always wise to stop for a while and give your heart - a time to breathe - a time to use your mind to weigh the situation based on reason not on emotion because the saddest thing that can happen is when one fall in love while the others wants nothing more than friendship. love can sometimes be magic but magic can sometimes be an illusion. there are times when i wish that i was limited to certain emotions so that i'll never have to experience pain, never feel betrayed or disappointed, and never get my fragile heart broken. but the same thing means that i'll never know how it feels to love in return - the thought of it kind of scares me - to have a heart that's whole but numb or a heart that's broken but real. someday, we'll all be looking back to those days we learned to love, get hurt, cry, and fight. May be when that time comes, we'll all be laughing at our old dumb selves - realizing how stupid we are to stand up for things we knew weren't really meant for us. But i guess learning takes time, and mistakes make one's journey fun. life is what makes it. love makes the world go round. so let's live, love, and take whatever pain it brings though it's hard to wait around for someone that i know will never happen, it's harder to stop when i know it's everything i've always wanted. but you know what? i'm glad... i'm glad it happened. we're good friends and im thankful for that.

..i was startled when my brother brought home, a vcd collection of the chronicles of narnia produced by the british broadcasting company(bbc). i never knew that around 1980, they already made a series collection of the first four books of the chronicles of narnia. each book actually consists of 6 episodes, and would roughly runs about 25 mins per each episodes.

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (BBC)
it is a quiet sort of a day in the heart of the english countryside when peter, susan, edmund, and lucy stumblethrough the back of an old wardrobe into the enchanted land of narnia. they embark on an extraordinary adventure discovering talking fauns, friendly beavers, giants and flying horses. when the white witch learns of their presence in narnia, their lives are in danger, but there is talk that aslan, the great lion, is on the move.

..when i watched the first series, it was very similar that of the one that was recently produced by Walt Disney Pictures, the only difference that I noticed was the ending. and one of the most obvious difference it that of the graphics, considering that the series was made in the late 80's

Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader (BBC)

prince caspian
wicked king miraz plans to conquer narnia, forcing the rightful heir prince caspian to flee. with the help of the pevensie children and an army of persecuted fauns, dwarfs and talking beasts, caspian goes into battle. with aslan's guidance, will they succeed in ridding narnia of this evil force?

the voyage of the dawn treader.
edmund and lucy return to narnia with their spolt cousin eustace scrubb. king caspian needs their help, so they set sail aboard the dawn treader to the edge of the eastern world. encountering sea serpents, dragons and invisible enemies, they strive to break the evil enchantment at the end of this momentous voyage.

The Silver Chair (BBC)

eustace scrubb and his bullied school friend jill pole, find themselves on a perilous quest to find the lost prince rilian, aided their newfound reptillian companion puddleglum. their travels lead them to the giants of garfang, and underground to the land of the earthmen. here they must face the fearful queen of the deep realm, combat her magical powers, and break the enchantment of the silver chair.

..you can grab a copy of the chronicles of narnia series at your favorite local video store.

..One day a man saw an old lady, stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so. Was he going to hurt her? He didn't look safe; he looked poor and hungry.
He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was that chill which only fear can put in you.
He said, I'm here to help you, ma'am. Why don't you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.’
Well, all she had was a flat tire, but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack, skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire. But he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.
As he was tightening up the lug nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn't thank him enough for coming to her aid.Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been all right with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped.
Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need, and God knows there were plenty who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way, and it never occurred to him to act any other way.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help, she could give that person the assistance they needed, and Bryan added, ‘And think of me.’
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight.
A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat, and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her.
The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn't erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin.
There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: ‘You don't owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I'm helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.’
Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard. She knew how worried her husband was, and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, ‘Everything’s going to be all right.. I love you, Bryan Anderson.
